It’s funny, I always assumed this song was about a shitty summer of studying for the bar exam.  Turns out it’s about living during a pandemic.  #runningsongs  (“Heroin Girl, or Heroine Girl?”)

A disproportionate number of U2 songs came on shuffle during my run today, proving that it’s undeniably fall.   Also, I’m now fairly certain that “Where the Streets Have No Name” is about a year of pandemic, and the need to go somewhere off the grid and scream as loudly as you can.
